Considering i have looked on the B&D website and clearly see there are no new signings to the league... how do you justify a team that won the premiership by a large margin who has not lost any players would not start raging favourites for season 2007? Doon has an ageing list that is why i believe Longwood are better placed if they hold onto their players from last season to challenge Goorambat.

Don’t think there is much action on any websites just yet; clearances haven’t really kicked off yet. Pretty sure a few are leaving the bats though……

heard a few wispers tatong might be losing a few senoir players to benalla saints twos. chris dube, stiffy, pooley???

Those guys are all required players at Tatong and they know it, they were all part of a pact made by last years group who said if Mossy was to coach again they would stay. Be surprised if they leave

Ouch!!!!! That was a jab in the loyalty.

Think they are swappin between churchill reserve and the gardens. Strugglin to see how the ground at swanpool will be up to scratch for the stat of the season.

Two of their better young guys are moving on - Will Sadler (Uni) & Tim Swift (Benalla)
Not sure about Ben Cook & Shane Hausner
James Schneider is travelling back from Melb to play

By the sound of things Goorambat are suffering badly from a premiership hangover. 5 weeks to the first game and recent numbers to training have been very poor.(about 6) Speaking to Swanpool assistant coach Michael Burgess, he said he's very happy with numbers at training and the enthusiasm shown by the boys. Reckons there's a really good environment out at swanny and that's part of the reason why they're getting good numbers.

Ha! nah. I wish them all the best. wasn't that long ago they were struggling with numbers and getting pumped every week. Just shows if ya hang in there things can turn for the better. Transfers page shows Tim Walker from Goorambat is getting a clearance to play for them! Thought he was going to be Goorambat's next captain?....
