It is official the dreaded premiership hangover will be avoided at punt road.

This is because of the following reasons.

1. Our leaders are superstars on and off the field
2. Everyone loves and respects one another
3. We have serious depth in Lloyd, Miles, Oleg, Short, Conca, Bolton ect
4. Our kids are very underrated, especially, Higgins, Balta, Naish .

This is a great time to be alive. Revel in the glory, tiger army

I'm with you blais, yesterday was a magnificent sight to see after all us older supporters have been through.

The confirmation that last year is all set to continue, bigger and brighter.

I firmly believe we're amongst the best sides - relative to their era - in the history of the game and only rotten luck can stop us racking up a few flags.

I recall back to last year and after the end of the pre-season go rounds - I thought we played well and the younger players showed loads of potential, and the game plan looked different and the commitment etc - although I'm as one eyed as you can get ... I thought 2017 was going to be a great season, but as usual it would a 'tiger' season where the team we needed to beat were ourselves ... well how wrong I was ... I know its only 1 game in - but .... looking good tigers.

Let's wait a few weeks. But I reckon that the club is very grounded and have kept the players grounded too. We also are lucky in the character of our leadership - Cotch is very very very mature, Rancey and Jack just keep on keeping on. But I reckon Dusty is very important in this. He is a guy that doesn't care about the outside and just works to improve and to make the team better. I'm sure that rubs off on others - the AFL's best player is focused on getting better an the team being better. Plus we have a lot of hungry guys, that know it can all fall apart fast. So we seem to have a good attitude to just staying focused and improving all the time.

It also helps us that the Dogs blew up in 2017. We used them as inspiration last year and know damn well that they are also our inspiration in 2018 - not to do what they did post premiership.
