The circle represents the wheel, they were unable to ever invent...

They didn't need the wheel because they weren't lazy bastards, they were quite happy walking around the country & getting exercise. A pity more people these days don't dump their wheel machines & walk instead, maybe there wouldn't be so many overweight, unhealthy people.

Some forget how cut off old Australia was from outside stuff, like decently farmable plants and animals and the benefits that come from such things like eventually making mathematical and scientific discoveries instead of having to focus on being 'hunter gatherer' so much of time.

Protip: British people didn't invent the wheel either.

Wheels aren't used primarily for laziness you're mistaking the wheel for cars and fatass mobility scooters.

Could argue they were actually incredibly lazy and also unintelligent bastards, they were happy walking around he country aimlessly getting exercise but never invented well anything to bring themselves forward and advance beyond the level of cavemen. If we "dumped the wheel" society would pretty much fall apart, even if you removed cars try transporting anything heavy any kind of distance without the aid of wheels and pulleys. I mean no racism here just really while other people were inventing gunpowder, physics, advanced laws and political systems, engineering marvels that have lasted centuries. While they invented pointy sticks, a pointy stick throwing device (actually rather efficient considering...) curvy stick and a hollow stick.

This is getting a tad off topic but honestly all things considered even compared to other natives like say native Americans, they were REALLY far behind in pretty much every way.

Wasn't suggesting the Brits did nor mentioned anything about the Brits inventing the wheel... Anyway i think i've derailed this thread enough.

Big assumption to make based on one smart assed joke that isn't actually all that wrong... In saying that I did lose an awful lot of respect after I went to the NT and realised how many stereotypes were sadly backed up in the first week.
I went to Frankston once and realised how many stereotypes were sadly backed up in the first half hour. I didn't have much respect for anglo-Australian illbred bogans to begin with though thus that is where we differ, that and not conflating the actions of a few to an entire demographic (ie: not all Anglo-Australians are bogans, or not all Richmond supports are feral inbreds).
