He's past his best, but I still think McDonald is very underrated for his career despite being AA in 06 and dual melb bnf's.

Everyone around the Dees knows the respect he has around the club is second to none, and apart from getting over OP Sylvia pretty much credits his return to form directly from talks Junior has had with him to set him straight.

I assume the OP has set the poll up as a troll to what he sees as the worst 2 captains in the AFL, but while I'd kill for a player like Judd... in terms to leadership and the example they'd set around the club for younger players I'd take McDonald and Newman to captain over Judd any day
