WHo is the best CHF in the league at the moment?
I picked Pavlich, i think its between him and Brown.

While I'll agree that this has been Tredrea's worst season for about five years...sabre_ac said:Season form my old "no1 docker knocker mate" Pavlich is the clear leader...period.
See above comment re: midfield. Roger James has played bugger all football, Francou is still out of whack, Peter Burgoyne has been injured...a Josh Carr would be handy right now.Though I do like your avatar there, suggesting the loss of him is why Port are playing so poor?

Pavlich
20 goals, 57% accuracy
188 disposals
103 marks
Tredrea
26 goals, 61% accuracy
150 disposals
86 marks
Given the complete, and documented, failure of the Port Adelaide midfield, you'd have to say that Pavlich is not exactly making the most of his opportunities.
Errr so if Gehrig takes only 50 marks but kicks 100 goals that means Pavlich has had a better year if he's gotten like 200 marks and 30 goals?sabre_ac said:Goals wise Pavlich has played alot further up the ground.
The biggest factor in my opinion of any key position foward is marks taken to assess their season.
Pavlich's figure is well above that of Tredrea's at this point in time, enough to suggest he has had the better season.
Midfield wise freo last season where again last place for centre breaks so their hardly firing either...
Gehrig plays at FF, so his sole job is to kick goals. The role of a CHF is to be the link man in the attack towards goal as well as being a goal kicking target.weagles_fan said:Errr so if Gehrig takes only 50 marks but kicks 100 goals that means Pavlich has had a better year if he's gotten like 200 marks and 30 goals?
Kenny_01 said:Pavlich is averaging 2.0 goals a game this season... just for comparison, Jonathon Brown averaged 1.48 goals a game in the 4 seasons the Lions made the GF.
Tredrea plays closer to goal so he is obviously going to kick more goals.
Despite Pavlich playing around HF and using his pace to his advantage, he is still #2 for contested marks behind Richo.

Quite possibly the best player in the game, too.
