Thread title. Features I'm looking for:

Instant flash (waiting for photos to take can be painful sometomes)
Simple to operate
Good quality photos (>8 mps)
Small and sturdy
Good value

Thanks for your opinions! There are just so many brands of digital cameras around I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed

To the OP - this is about the most expensive point and shoot you can buy before going to a DSLR. It rates very well against the low entry SLR's with the exception of low light stuff and depth of field shooting.
