Flip cup owns, so we played in teams of 4 and had world cup tournaments! Was epic fun

Beer pong is for singles & pairs tournaments.

Flip-cup is all about teams of at least 4 or 5. Pressure is really on when it's 7 a side and you are level going into the last 1 or 2 people.

Drinking rules rather than games work well for pub crawls, BBQs etc. Buffalo club, being forced to do 10 push-ups for saying the word 'mine' etc.

Dead bug, simple game and alot of fun. Person yells out "dead bug!", last person to get on the ground on their backs with their arms and legs up has to either scull their drink or shout the next set.

The Name Game

Simple concept - you must sit in a circle and name celebrities / characters / famous peoples names. The first letter of the last name MUST be the the first letter of the next first name.

eg: Paris Hilton -> Harry Kewell ->Karl Marx

However, there are a few rules.

A double letter, such as William Wallace, reverses the direction

A single name, such as Ares, Aphrodite, Aristotle (yes, Greek history / mythology makes the A's go for a while) skips the next person.

When it is your turn, you MUST be drinking while you think of a name

And lastly (this is the fun part) as soon as it hits a new persons turn, everyone else may yell out names that they are now not allowed to say. For example, if the letter "S" came around, people could start yelling out; "Can't say Sam Stoser, can't say Sailor Moon, can't say Sam Newman", etc.

If they say a name that has been barred, or (eventually) give up, they must finish their vessel, and start a new round.

I can honestly say I've had too many fun times with this game. You also cotton on pretty quickly as to what to yell out when a particular letter appears.

Sevens/bottles
Everyone in a circle, loop around the circle counting from 1 up, one person at a time. Every multiple of seven or number with a seven in it needs to be substituted with the word bottles, and the direction around the circle changes.

ie - one, two, three, four, five, six, bottles (change direction), eight, nine, ten, elevel, twelve, thirteen, bottles (change direction), fifteen, sixteen, bottles (change direction), eighteen, nineteen, twenty bottles (change direction) ... etc
Game generally doesnt get past thirty too often.

[Hard Ball Get]

Goon of fortune. Peg a goon bag to clothes line and get everyone to stand around the clothes line. Spin the clothes line around and who ever it stops on has to drink a few mouth fulls and spin it again.

Played this one flat out in high school.
