Everyone seems to be agreeing here. I think Goldsack has been a real find. Clarke is a fantastic pickup for a whole other reason. Honourable mention to Cox.

Not the best, but he was a joy to watch, the young rooster himself ,Brad Dick. When snapped that goal from 50 in about round 3 or 4 I thought, how good is that, for someone who weighs about 70 kg wringing wet to be able to pump a footy through like that shows huge potential. I know he is doing his time in the trenches at Willi but to have a young player like that up our sleeves shows just how good Goldsack and Clarke have really been to crack a regular gig with the big boys.

I think this draft will go down at probably as best draft in a long, long time, possibly ever! I know it is very early to call, but what potential! Goldsack and Clarke have already shown shitloads, and will be a part of our dynasty for years to come. Reid looks the goods up forward, and when he matures physically and mentally he will be dynamite. Brad Dick's kicking skills are already up their with the best at our club. He adds youth and excitement, as well as precision kicking and the x-factor. Definately looks the goods. Brown has been a bit of a let down thus far, but he will improve I'm sure. Being pick 10 in the deepest draft ever, you would expect him to be something special. Dawes looks set to be the next J.Brown, or our replacement for Rocca. He is already built for AFL, and if rumours are true, he will be a force to behold inside 50. And finally, Sharrow Wellingham! I can't wait to see this kid play for the black and white. I'm very excited about him.

These are just the guys from last years draft. I don't consider Cox a first year player.

Tyson Goldsack has been very good. But I have a feeling Marty Clarke will catch him by the end of the year. He's been that good since he made his debut, although I don't think he will hold his spot in the side come the finals, I'm sure he could rise to the occasion if the opportunity presents itself. Aside from them, I can't see anybody more deserving of the award at the moment.

Goldsack has been fantastic, when all looked lost with the established backline dropping like flies, he has stood firm. It's great to watch him go 3rd man up and really back himself. A Rising Star Nom, can't be too far away, surely!
