Best First Year Player?

Contenders (those who have played a game):

Liam Jurrah - 6 games
Neville Jetta - 12 games
Jamie Bennell - 15 games
Jack Watts - 3 games
Jordie McKenzie - 1 game
Rohan Bail (technically) - 0.1 game

Would anyone know whether "First Year" means first year on the list, or first year in which you play a game? If the latter, Jake Spencer, Kyle Cheney and Tom McNamara are also eligible. Surely it is your first year on the list though? (Morton won it last year)

-------------------------------------------------

If Jurrah comes back into the side for the last two or three, I think he might be able to snag this. If not, I'd have the Jet slightly above Bennell.

Bennell, followed by Jetta have done the most but that's only due to the amount of games they've played. Jurrah has showed a lot more potential though which is the most important thing for a first year player in a lowly team.

Bennell - his game in Perth was nearly as good as Jurrah's best, and despite his late season slump and injury he did enough early to be the best. Jetta and Jurrah would need a couple of very good/amazing games respectively to go past him.

If Jurrah plays another 2 games and continues what he's been doing then Jurrah otherwise I've got to say Jetta.

The physicality and toughness in such a little bloke is excellent, plus he's improved in every game he's played.

^This.

Voted Jurrah on the poll. :D

Voted Bennell. Feel he has had the best year overall.
Jurrah is an excitement machine but prob needs to play a couple more games to be in contention.
Jetta has been great in the last month or so and has improved steadily, however a bit like All Australian your end of season form can over shadow the whole picture and cloud judgement.

Bennel for me just
