Best internet provider

What is the best internet provider. Are there any great deals out there for broadband??? Im currenlty with Optus.

Actually I did some reading up last night and found that Iprimus Broadband has been very poor in certain parts of the country in recent months, Tasmania especially (Wait! There's a surprise )
Due mainly to congestion and poorly maintained Telstra infrastructure.
Pay through the nose for anything to do with Telstra and receive a standard of service befitting a national carrier of somewhere like Zimbabwe
Iprimus should be good for your part of the country Bulldog Rob.

Exetel are good, not much customer service.. but great speeds and cheap!

AAPT has been good, for me, I can get Dialup as well with their broadband service for 9.95 a month. Their customer service has been good as well when dealing with a problem with their servicing cutting off.

Why would you want Dialup as well as broadband?

I used to have iiNet, dumped them when they brought their new plans thriough because they sucked.

Now with Internode and reasonably happy, kind of expensive for the plan i have but very rarely ever goes down and the speed is always great.


I have heard good things about TPG.

The Help desk at internode is amazing and they do 100% support mac's as well

Internode definitely. I've had dodo, optus and internode craps all over them.

I'm pretty much a nuff nuff with techo stuff, but they've actually surprised me by being HELPFUL when you phone them!

have had iinet for about 3 years now & really can't fault the service at this point.

$80/month for phone+interenet (20gb plan)
