Mark's Place (owned by Steven Alessio and the Rocca brothers) makes the best pizzas going around (and this is coming from a person who doesn't even like pizza very much). Nothing compares to them!

Totally agree. Great Margarita Pizza.

The best is Marcellinas, although they're very expensive...

The Australian Pizza House is also great for plain cheese pizza... mmmmm... plus the one on West Terrace is open 24/7, which is great.

Of those, I like Dominos the best... their tomato paste is fantastic, and their dough is cooked from scratch, rather than pre-packaged.

Pizza Haven would be my favourite, they have the best crunchy crust.
Pizza Hut is crap...their pizza's fall apart when you pick em up (all the topping falls off), especially on a BBQ Chicken.
Domino's probably has the tastiest topping but not a very good crust.

So ill say Pizza Haven

Bubba's is the best. Anyone who lives in the Scoresby/Wantirna area will agree with me on that and also that Paloma pizza is absolute crap!

None of that dial-a-pizza take-away crap compares to a pizza bought in a restaurant/cafe.

For the best pizza in Adelaide try Mamma Carmela's.

The Strand at Glenelg does a good (but expensive) pizza.

I would have suggested Don Giovanni's, but that restaurant sadly shut up shop a few months ago :(

For a good gourmet (read: unusual) pizza try Amici's on Rundle St. Go for the one with pumpkin on it. Yes, pumpkin. Must be tried to be appreciated.

Outside of Adelaide...
I once ate at a place in Freo, called Pizza Bella Roma I think. The pizzas there were superb. Very nice crust.

Godfathers because they actually deliver pizza during the week, unlike pizza hut/ humptys/ pizza haven etc, although their vegetarian pizza isn't that nice.

Of course, proper pizza in restaurants is always so much better than these chain places.

Pizza Hut for me, but not on a Monday night!! Their pizzas on a Monday night are very dodgy and I suspect they may use left over ingredients from the weekend or something as they are terrible. Any other night and they are really nice though!! :):)

Pizza Haven used to be really nice but seem to have gone off a bit and ever since they decided not to deliver any pizzas smaller than large size, it's just not worth ordering through them.

Cheers!!

Finally ordered from Pizza Haven a couple of weeks ago, and I was quite impressed. Exceeded whatever expectations I had...

I voted for Domino's, but there are none of those in Ballarat... or none that I have seen, anyways. :( So for me, it's Pizza Hut-- and yes, make sure you go into a walk-in restaurant, and have the all-you-can-eat, one must take advantage of the salad and dessert bars, too. :)

Cheers,
William

I make me own.
Buy the bread dough, use plenty of flour, Cook on 200 c until base just goldens.

Topping

Pizza Sauce, Mozz and Cheddar cheese, Peperoni, Kalamanta Olives, Anchovies, Sun dried Tomatoes.....

and the rest is just DELICIOUS:D :D :D

Hey Sein Dude! Know any Pizza Jokes:confused:

Queenscliff Pizza for sure. Pretty sure it's on Hesse Street.

It's next to a Fish n Chip Shop.

Peter makes the best Pizza's this side of Texas.

ARGH argh argh argh....chain store pizzas?!

I don't think I could go back to them! The best pizza I have ever had is from this little place on Swanston St. Fantastic stuff!!!

Bah and anyway, Eagle Boys pizzas are far tastier than anything Pizza Hut are serving up these days!
