Now we all know that the stuff from the 2 major chains that have the money to put ad's on TV is crap. But what are your favourite spots?
-Comment on quality of pizza
-Service
-Price

Will be interesting to see what people come up with!

The best Pizza in my area (Ivanhoe) is the La Porchetta on Heidelberg rd. Price, time and quality all very acceptable. The best Pizza I've ever had was the shop behind the Shell service station in Anglsea. Buggered if it's still there though, I'm talking 10 years ago here.

I disagree. It's a very good game, but I think Donkey Kong is the best game ever.

In Melbourne the best I have had is Crust, costs a bit more than average but is well worth it, service seems fine nothing special. Cant go past the Mexican (avocado, sour cream and a refried bean sauce on the base), the seafood or Roma.

Another one that comes to mind is that everytime I go to Canberra (for work not fun) I always without fail pay a visit to APK fantastic pizza and they also have a brewery onsite.

the local one was the best i've had. but it moved. was the best when with mates late at night. so cheap yet so much topping!

GoodLife Pizza in Adelaide goes down a treat :thumbsu: It's a bit pricey, but uses local and organic ingredients.

I win!

Little Caesars Pizzeria in Mundaring :thumbsu:

Godfathers Pizza in Leopold. Love it :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Mr Hollywood under Richmond station. Free delivery, good quality and cheap. Definitely have way too much of it.

Noticed that one the other day (on Swan St right?), its a good one? any recommondations?

Wonder if they are related to the souva kings on Bridge rd, Hollywood Palace:D

Mangia Bevi Italian Resteraunt in Bulleen/Templestowe.

A touch pricey in comparrison to our chain friends but worth is. Quality ingrediants and not over run with budget cheese.

About $12 for a large and it goes well.

I Porchetta up if not there.

Or Crust Pizza in Vic, not sure if it's anywhere else.

Healthy....well 'healthy' pizzas.
Chicken Tandoori pizza takes the cake.

costy though.

i grew up in ocean grove and have now lived in melb for 4 years and am yet to find a better pizza shop than the ocean grove pizza shop in all of melbourne. Their aussie, satay chicken, tex mex and 'terrace'special are amazing

Near me theres a small place called Tippys which although is at least twice the cost of chain store pizzas has three times the toppings and is an awesome grease fix.

Out of all the places I have tried overall, Pizzas on Cambridge is the best although there are other quality places that are likely to be even better. La Porchetta is easily the best out of the 'chains'.

Yeah it's on Swan St. I stick with the Aussie or the Meatlovers, they are both awesome. But don't go the garlic bread, its a piece of shit.
