Exile On Main Street is 'the' complete album with plenty of well-known tracks plus a horde of sensational album tracks. It's got a raw rootsy feel that has now been copied by other artists like the Black Crowes for example.

Goats Head soup is probably one of the most under-rated Stones' albums ever and for the life of my I can't understand why. It's got hits (Angie, Heartbreaker) plus quality album cuts (Mr. D, Silver Train, Hide Your Love).

Some Girls was a major comeback album for them after a string of not so consistent albums, pure quality all the way.

Black & Blue showed the Stones were adaptable and prepared to experiment, best of all, it was Ronnie Wood's first album with them.

Black & Blue sounds too disjointed for me. Simply guitarists auditions that ended up on record

1. Exile
2. Let it Bleed
3. Sticky Fingers
4. Beggars Banquet

I swap around and my favourite changes but everytime Exile comes back around I re discover why it is the all time best. It's just got these layers to it. There's so many things you can listen to but at the same time is not too busy.
