tried to make a team only with players 24 and under. cory mcgrath was chosen randomly as a veteran because i needed 1 more player. Its really not very easy. have a go!

HB: Ryan Houlihan--Bret Thornton--David Teague

C: Andrew Walker--Adam Bentick--Heath Scotland

HF: Justin Davies--Ian Prendergast--Jarrad Waite

F: Brad Fisher--Brendan Fevola--Cory McGrath

Foll: Adrian Deluca--Nick Stevens--Jordon Bannister

Inter: Brett Johnson--Trent Sporn--Andrew Carrazzo--Kade Simpson

Emer: David Clarke--Setanta O'hAilpin--Sam Pleming

all you have to do now campo 16 is another 15 clubs and we would have something to compare it with. Looks pretty good on paper though.

thats pretty much your best 22 isn't it? or close to it?

er without campo, kouta, lappin, barnaby, scotland etc ... they are certainly in our best 22 ... but the bulk of our side is made up of youngsters which is good too.

Carazzo & Sporn should be on the ground.
Wiggins shouldn't.
He hasn't done anything yet in his career.

damn straight

wiggins is overrated by a lot carlton supporters

that may be but imo he has still done more in his career so far than the other 2- sporn is a really good player put needs to stop getting injured when he runs into some form, and carrazzo, although i am a big fan, has only played 2 games, its still early days!

Jim Plunkett > David Clarke > Simon Wiggins

imo Wouldn't be anywhere near my best 22. Take a look at Wiggo's highlight reel. One bloody diving spoil against Adelaide! Carrazzo's done more in 2 games and should get a game before the wiggly one.

That's bull-******** Wiggins was showing great promise in a better side just before he was injured this year. You have to remember he is only young and was playing his early football in a very crap side. Looking forward to seeing what Simon has to offer next year. He has genuine pace which is something we do not have an abundance of and he has a spring to take a strong grab.

pfffft i think your a bit sunstruck in the gold coast and its killed to many of ur braincells that would be the only explanation of ur stupid post ;)

for arguments sake:

wiggo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>clarke >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Plunket :)

wow, you guys are making me out to be a troll :p
I support Carlton just so you know.

I'm not kidding though. Plunkett impressed me more than wiggles ever did. Not that I want JP back or anything. Both aren't good enough imo

Wiggins is a battler just like Plunkett .... both aren't up to AFL standard in my opinion.

Clarke .... now don't get me started. He is quite possibly the worst player in the AFL, an absolute shocker. He doesn't have any footy smarts, has terrible skills, can't find the ball and doesn't even want to be out there. I hope he doesn't get a game next year so I don't have to bear seeing his name in the side and seeing his arse sit on the bench.

Have to disagree. Plunkett came to Carlton at the same age Wiggins is now and wiggo is alot better player than what Plunkett was at 21. Wiggins potentially has alot more to offer than Jimmy ever did. Give the boy time.He has allt he credentials to be good solid player for the Blues for a long time. Not a star but a very good player who has something we do not have alot of and that is pace and versitility. Lets face it my Grandma could have beaten poor old Jimmy Plubkett over 50 metres. Clarke on the other hand i would have to agree with you. He is aBombay shocker.

wiggons really impressed me this year in the games he played ... showed more assuraty with the ball and was a great improver (much like prenda's) imo.

hopefully he will improve next year and show u he can be a valuable member of our 22!!! :D

ps: no hard feelings tho ... we've all got differing opinions :p
