Does it work if you get a friend oversea's to join betfair, then use their account so you can do the live in play betting etc?

Or they track where you are actually logging in on from?

I really want to bet in-play on the cricket this summer, is it possible?: ) thanks!

Unfortunately they track the IP from where you login, so even though your account may be based overseas, if you login in Australia, the IP they detect will be Australian.

Could you use one of those internet proxies maybe? Use your mates account but do it through a proxy.

For a while people in Australia were getting around the law by using proxies and servers to make them annoymous. Before betfair was licensed in Tassie, I use to use a server which made me login from Germany (and in play betting worked). It doesnt now though.


But as a recommendation, you could try using Betdaq, which offers in-play betting , and has reasonably good liquidity on their cricket markets.

Mate, a Fed Labor Govt would be even worse in regards to this than the Libs.

Look at how incompetently most of their state Labor brethren have handled Betfair.

Do Betdaq offer AFL? Might have to sign up a specialist in play account with them.
