Call them, tell them they can't close your account as you wish to bet on Victorian/NSW racing.
Nah they are a legitimate licensed bookmaker. Not sure what they could do with your bank details anyway.
Possibilities are you are only betting on promo markets, you are only betting at the top of the market, they suspect you of having multiple accounts (unlikely given the reason stated) or maybe some bookie ban list sharing with other corps if you are banned elsewhere

yes they can't close an account for several states of racing.
Got the exact same email today. In my case, I wasn't really shocked, just disappointed. I had been arb/middling with them this footy season and the bets from their side won a lot more often than not. Up close to 4K on the Neds account side since May. When you arb/middle, you hope the losses and wins are spread out more evenly, but doesn't always work out like that. I had already been promo banned by Neds since February. The only other account I've had closed unwillingly was Ladbrokes, and that was spurred on because I had tried to open a new account with Betstar after they promo-banned me.

just complain to the bookmaker and argue for MBL, you won't be betting on sports but they won't close the account (and it pisses them off)
let me know how you go, most will shit themselves fairly quickly although neds are notoriously bad and will likely play dumb and drag it out etc.

Why would a bookie shit themselves when you're requesting to get on for a grand on racing when people here have most likely been banned due to promotion use or arbing?

Account closed or open for mbl and limited to $1 on sports betting, what's the point in complaining you'll end up with the same result. If someone wants to start punting on the horses with the same sort of money they are picking off Monday totals with, betting middles, arbs etc. then the bookie would be rubbing their hands together. The idea they would "shit themselves" in that instance is laughable.

If it wasn’t obvious enough originally you tell them you want your account to PRETEND you want to bet on horses and what they’re doing is against the law. They will backflip and keep the account open. Because hey, a open account limited to hardly anything is better than none at all. Originally posted to help the guy but you can go off rambling about how betting on horses is stupid and arbitrage is the way to go.

Why the offended?
I offered a simple way to keep the account open. Shit themselves was a bad combinations of words but they’d be compelled by law to keep the account open. Not threatening legal or anything you talk it up as. Simply ask them to keep the account open, with low turnover and low profit as he said he had when Ned’s increase in revenue they may lessen some restrictions in a 1/100000 chance.
Honestly just offered advice to keep the account open.
