Agree. Eddie's improving with each game. What's good about our side at the moment, is that we have a collection of very promising younger players, that are making steady progress at the same time. Still making a heap of costly mistakes at criucial times though. Giving these players valuable game time at this stage of the season is a great move - it will help them identify and work on their flaws and develop some confidence. A great investment for next year. Really like Josh Kennedy's efforts. Already exerting a physical presence at CHF. Hopefully his team mates will start using his leads a little more over the next week or 2. Nice to see a forward line with Fev, Kennedy, Fisher and Waite, without ADL.

Eddie started a bit slow but had a terrific game, that goal when he took the ball from the boundary throw in tap was magic.
2.
That running goal in the 3rd 1/4 - did you see it!; nearly came off the side of the boot, but gee it was exciting.
3.
Needs to have a repeat perfomance this week, Eddie need to raise his consistency. Still young and developing nicely.

Another small forward option is needed to help Eddie out when the ball hits the deck.

Obviously we also need key back & some more running players like Simpson, but we must have 2 small forwards as a minimum.

Heartbreaking to get so close continually, but shows we are making progress.

yeah i agree i no blackwell is a midfielder but he could have little stints down foward because he can kick a few. eg. goal against kangas.

I think alot of people forget this is only his second season. After two seasons many younsters are still trying to cement a spot in the team while he has been there since last year, all be it being dropped a couple of times. He was one of the best players going around when he was playing in the TAC Cup. He should develop into a dominant small forward who can play in the middle.
