As it stands Geelong Collingwood and St Kilda are the best sides in the competition,however we cannot forget about Hawthorn and Western Bulldogs.

Being a Geelong supporter and after watching the hawks closely I fear them more than any other team in the competition and would be the last team I would want to play in the finals for obvious reasons. WB will also hit there straps coming into finals footy and be very dangerous.

This is a geat year of football for this reason i believe we have 5 genuine teams in which are capable of winning the flag and this will lead to a great enthrawling finals series. 6 maybe if we include Adelaide. Get ready for a great finals series.

If it's going to happen, there's every chance it will be this year. Hawthorn look seriously dangerous right now.

Hawthorn's midfield of Mitchell, Sewell, Lewis, Hodge, Burgoyne, Rioli, Bateman, Young will be hard to stop, IMO the best midfield in the AFL with it's perfect blend of different player types.

They are peaking nicely for finals after being decimated by injuries.

Well said. The respect I have for Geelong and their finals experience still makes me slightly favour your side for the Premiership but yes, we do have 5 genuine contenders. Can't wait. Go Hawks.

Still Im waiting to be proven wrong but in my opinion Jesus C....bulldogs are full of it. If they don't pinch it this year they are over for the next 10.

The Hawks are playing very good football..but i wouldn't take too much out of todays performance as they were playing one of the worst teams in the comp.

Other finals teams should know not to take any finals game lightly, no matter who the opponent ..you don't need a thread to state the obvious .

You haven't seen any of their matches the last 7 or 8 weeks? On current form the hawks are capable of knocking off anyone in the top 4 imo.

Agree with the op, we are set for an awesome finals series. Out of those teams mentioned though I can't see the bulldogs winning it, may very well knock out a top 4 side though.
