I had thought that too. Same goes for PRC and BFPL. Doesn't seem fair tbh.

I floated the idea in the past years, but I think a mid-week draft (a week after the players are picked in MSD) would actually serve a better idea than everyone relying on waivers with this sort of thing that can happen. The double-dipping on teams being able to have a go at two players doesn't seem fair for the competition.

We can 100% raise this post season and you can even champion it. Would be easy to do in this thread with a 12 hours timer or something. Those blokes don’t get played for a week very best case scenario anyway so no big deal if it takes a week or two to carry out this very small draft.

However it is extra work for players that are very likely not to make it. There isn’t much value in the MSD and finding a gun like Newcombe is rare.

Alright. Get something happening then. I like the idea.

Post season you’ll generally get more engagement but if you are confident you can get the majority keen and everyone aware now please do it.

Just note there is no keeper side restrictions in place other then waivers to stop people signing these people so would need a rule in place OR everyone pays $20 a season for
Ultimate access which allows a draft.

I think the waiver works well it’s just this year the Thursday night game screwed us a bit. Also nobody got access in either league to more than 1 MSD player.

Doesn't have to be in one night. It could be slow online over 3-4 days if we're all just drafting one player each. We get through more than that in preseason (some days).

Don’t worry flaps i pressed reset on my team in the PRC. A quick 2 years later and I’m averaging 1 win a season.

That's not counting the byes because of round 0. Just do a split round for the half way point FML.

2 weeks until the trade deadline is up. (end of 13th July).

I've got a few seasoned players on the trade block for anyone interested in a finals tilt. They're not part of my long-term plans for my next premiership, but still happy to hold them for next year if the offers aren't there.
