Awesome. I started making a shortlist and had players like Bosh, Boozer and Brand as centres, but they only have PF eligibility there. But that's fair, I reckon it's better how the only list one position for each player.

Yer I prefer that as it can be a bit unfair to have Bosh, Boozer etc as Centres when they are mostly PF's.

Damn, even Gasol is a PF. I would have thought C for him given he played there in the championship team with Bynum out.

Another question: are we using this thread for the draft? Only reason I ask is maybe the guy with the first pick has been checking the basketball forum to see if a new thread has been created for the draft. There is a lot of bullcrap talk happening here by mostly me and me, so he might just think this is a discussion thread, rather than a draft thread. I reckon it won't hurt to create a draft thread and leave this for the discussion thread.

Perhaps a fairly obvious question, but I'm assuming each week I put forward 5 starters, covering all 5 positions??

No actually it's 1 PG, 1 SG, 2 PG's/SG's, 1 SF, 1 PF, 2 SF's/PF's, 2 C's and your 2 rookie picks who start and you have 4 bench.

So you have to have a minimum of 2 Pg's, 2 Sg's, 2 Sf's, 2 Pf's, 2 C's and 2 rookies.

So it will look like this:

Starters:
PG
SG
G
G
SF
PF
F
F
C
C
R
R

Bench:
4 players who can either be a PG, SG, SF, PF or C.

And if your playe rgets injured you can release him and sign a new player from the FA pool.

Yes that's why it's better to pick 2nd year players in the rookie draft.
