Yeah but i think there would be a lot of interest from the public and thats its based on rather than just your preference :P

Don't think you would get a crowd. Would be useless.

Albeit would be better than 6pm on the 23rd though. Crowds come generally after Boxing Day

You don't put a game on for 10k!

Honestly you couldn't have a team travel...

So you're left with only 2 possible games and as a Thunder fan I'd struggle to get to a game on XMas day so I'd hate it here. No point changing the Melbourne games

This is going around in circles but you are making up rules

You could get 10-20k at any of the grounds bar the mcg it wont look too bad.

You can make teams travel. Heck the aussie team are in Melbourne now ready for tomorrow, the Hurricanes and stars are probably together for tomorrows clash, so you could play any game

You cant say things are absolute rules and restrictions when you just make them yourself

1 day off won't hurt you, I watched a movie, had a fairly easy night. Allows me to have a nice afternoon nap too. The Big Bash teams would probably catch the red eye flight in the morning on Boxing Day for tomorrow's game. Let them spend 1 day with their families.

They play for a few weeks, plenty of people work xmas day

If anything your argument makes more sense if you want to say gate attendants and ground staff deserve a day off than sports stars
