I've continued to tumble back to 60th, but might as well see it through to the end. The sweet relief of unlimited trades means an almost level playing field.

My Xl is Klinger, KP, Simmons, Lumb, Ten Doeschate, Wright, Handscomb, Dorff, Richardson, Zampa, McKay

Bench will all be from the first game to take advantage of the perfect loopholing round. Maddinson, Dean, Wessels, Lee.

Annoyingly we can't pick players from eliminated teams, which mostly means it's impossible to loophole in the keeper slot with no non playing stars or scorchers available.

If Mozzie plays I'll replace RTD with him, but I'm unsure if he'll be available if he plays for Aus today. Marsh and White WILL play on Sunday.

It's not over yet, mate. I was ranked 1k after Rd8 last year & ended up 38th overall by going unique during the finals. I would recommend you do likewise. Especially with your C choice. If it comes off, you can still win!

You can loophole your keeper...think about it some more.

Yes, you can. Just don't trade out one of your "eliminated" teams players.

Good point. I was aware of that but I failed to grasp te full potential of this in the keeper spot specifically prior to lockout.

Terrible result last night with just 68 points from Simmons, Ludeman, Botha, Richardson and Zampa while I had Maddinson on the bench with 105 points.

I might have to swap one of KP, Klinger or Marsh for a non playing batsman so I can get Maddinson's score.

Despite my comment on the r8 thread, I couldn't resist updating my team for the semis. 5/307 is a handy start with Pietersen, Marsh, Behrendorff, Hogg and Handscombe to play. That's 6(c)/370 if I take Henriques' vc score of 63 as captain as I probably should.

Surely you have to do that if you still have trades. The chances of any of them, especially Klunker, matching Maddinson's 105 are remote.

I think there is a Rd10 glitch / opportunity.

I have Lawford from Adelaide on my bench as an allrounder.

I can save my team without trading him out.

If i trade him out to a scorcher or 6er the cheapest I can use on the bench is about 15K more than that.

So I think it may be a way of maximizing $$$$ on the ground

Just 122 points from my 5 players in game 2 wrecked my score which ended up being just 492. The Stars really were a costly team all season so I'm glad they're gone.
One more chance to achieve something ... anything.
