They are junk.

Tim Paine is shit. Robert Shaw is a master coach compared to that clown.

Strikers need a brand new coach, new imports and a bunch of new local players. This shit is terrible to watch.
Agree - need a near complete cleanout.

A team of amateurs would likely do better.

Tim Paine please leave and take Short, Manenti, Lynn and the imports. Why not a total clean out and start again.
The imports are the bowlers, and they can stay. Perth game aside, they've been solid for the most part.

That said, I'm happy to sacrifice one of them (say, Wood) to bring in a competent batsman.

The list make up is horrible.

Lynn doesnt give a shit, get rid of him

Not sure why we thought it was a good idea to have all imports as bowlers when our batting line up is so thin.
Should be looking at Australian players who are not household names but perform.

Probably also need to get some sort of commitment prior to the season from Travis Head one way or the other.

Feel our imports are a bit wasted on all bowlers at what is usually a batter friendly deck.

Surely Kelly's contract is finally expiring this year, not offering 3 year contracts to a fringe, at best player, is probably a good starting point too.

I reckon guys like him and JFM actually see the BBL as a chance to go back to their home states for the festive season.

We'd have to make a play for McSweeney, hes the SACA captain.
Could be, but I wouldn't touch JFM with a ten-foot pole.

You're becoming as obsessed as Vader is with Mitch Marsh
To be fair he isn't wrong... as did the best post-decade of Botham English allrounder impersonation in the BBL.

Local players with a contract, two spots available

Alex Carey, Thomas Kelly, Lloyd Pope, Jason Sangha, Liam Scott, Matt Short, Tom Straker, Henry Thornton,
