I believe one of the advantages of batting first and bowling second in a 20-20 is that it allows the team to see what kind of bowling works well on the wicket.
In this case Hopes a slowish medium pacer and the spinner in Simpson were easily the best bowlers for QLD, while all their faster bowlers leaked runs. With SA being able to see this Edmonson was never going to bowl as they had 2 medium pacers in Pollard and Christian and the 3 spinners in O'brien, Rashid and Lyon.
Ill certinally be looking at things like this for betting at the innings break in 20-20's from now on as QLD were always going to struggle.

The team batting first has actually lost 3/4 matches in the past week or so, it's like the whole competition has been turned on it's head.
Plus, if Tassie or QLD win the toss, expect them to drop about .3 each.
I'll take my chances, and I can always bet live (thankyou bet365).

crazy 2 games today. tasmania struggled to reach 100 & south australia comfortably chased the total down with ease.
nsw looked gone until some late hitting, then QLD failed in their chase.

Taken a multi today for a bit of value.
New Zealand to win into Tassie tonight in the prelim.
NZ got smashed late in the last game without Vetorri playing, and with him back, and the Paki's inconsistency I'll back the Kiwis @ 1.80.
The Tassie/NSW game is a 50/50 matchup, but hopefully Cosgrove limps out to the middle (he doesn't need to run anyway) and Tassie can win this and make the final.
