Ben Wallace has taken home the All Defensive Player of the year award for the second straight season joining Sidney Moncrief, Dennis Rodman, Hakeem Olajuwon, Dikembe Mutombo and Alonzo Mourning as the only players to do so.

Only other guys with first place votes were Tim Duncan, KG, Artest and Christie. Those four and Wallace and you have my All D team IMO. But I believe you need to do it by position so you would need a PG. Perhaps Eric Snow or Iverson to pinch hit at the 1.

Bruce Bowen or Ron Artest? For pure defensive ability, I'd take Bruce but I'm biased.

Granted, Artest is very quick to move.

Ben wallace's hair should have come 2nd in the voting!

It's much more scary even then Ron Artest.

Position wise, Christire has been known to play the point, rarely does now with Bibby and Jackson on the strength.

Is 'The Glove' still a defensive factor these days?

He is still pretty good defensively, not the factor he used to be but still very handy. I think he equaled MJ's record of 9 consecutive All D 1st team selections.
