I apologise for intruding on your board, and again for my lack of knowledge of your team, but who are your big blokes?

Cox in the ruck (does he also go forward?)
Wilson and Gardiner as forwards.
Jakovich and MacIntosh (out this week I understand) as defenders.

Who else do you have?

We will use Croft, Penny, Harrison and Bartlett as our tall defenders, and Grant, Bandy and Hunter as our tall forwards.
Darcy and Bandy in the ruck.

Birss will get Phil Matera, Smith should (but probably won't) take Cousins and if Wirapunda plays forward, he will go head-to-head with Robbins.

BRING IT ON.

Players that are 190cm+ and likely to play on the weekend: Glass, Gaspar, Embley, Wilson, Gardiner, Cox, Jakovich, McIntosh (probably won't play) and Tuckey.

Might have missed some, but i think thats it. A pretty short team overall.

Thanx.

Who plays CHF - Gardiner?

Isn't Embley a flanker? Big boy for a flank.

Does Gaspar play forward or back?

Gardiner plays mostly at CHF, but occasionally gets rotated into the ruck when Cox is getting beaten or the team needs a lift.

Embley is 190cm according to his profile (may have grown since).

Gaspar is being groomed for CHB, but his stints in the forward line are usually very productive. He's a very athletic kid (Darren Gaspar reckons Travis is better than he was at that age), but injuries have so far hampered his progress. But with a couple of seasons under his belt he could explode onto the scene at anytime(us eagles fans are hoping he does at least).

Dont know much about Harrison or Bartlett but they will need to big and quick to go with Wilson. Croft would be the logical choice on Wilson but i havent seen anybody stay with Wilson on a lead so if i were you i wouldnt expect one of your defenders to. Best play is to leave a man loose in defence to plug the hole, but then whoever gets that job could be stretchered off :D

Penny or Bartlett to take Gardiner? Might be an idea putting Grant back on Gardy but then that would limit yout forward options.

If Grant goes forward Jako will probably have first crack, if he isnt quick enough we could see Glass moved onto him. Glass is very quick though and he will probably get Hunter. Collica may have to play on a tall but he is usually very good. Gaspar or Carroll could come in but i think we would use Collica before those two.

Bandy will get thrashed in the ruck against Cox and even moreso against Gardiner. But once again, as in all matches, the key is the midfield.

It's a fair point about our talls. With Milli out we're back to Carroll loke last year or maybe Gaspar who IMO is a risk in such a key position although a very talented one. We also have Glass plaing this season as the third defensive tall which gives more options and Kasey Green, after a great WAFL game may come in as the third tall alongside Glass at FB and Jako at CHF. Still, we will miss Milli.
There will be a temptation to bring back Sierra a few weeks earlier because he is a true CHF.
Look out for Fletcher to have a very good game and it's an important game for BB IMO. He has kicked straight for two weeks in a row. If he makes it three we may even be thinking about a potential Coleman medallist.

The boys will be doing it for Joey this week too. 100 games
