Sad but true unfortunately.

Will go down as one of the greats of the game, but the fact is he's not 6'1' with the surname of Judd. So he won't win it.

If only he could be tapping it down to himself all these years....

He will poll better this year for two reasons.

The fact we don't have a main midfielder to steal votes ie Judd and Cousins
The other reason is that after the shocker of last year the umps will pay more notice to our outstanding players. Cox will get a decent look in this year.

My Brownlow tip is most votes Sam Mitchell second Dean Cox.

Mitchell will miss out because of a stupid rule.

A Saints supporter friend of mine at last week's game commented to me how nervous he was when Naita was rucking, and how relieved he was whenever Cox was in the ruck. So it's good to see the Big Cox stand up in the second half last night.

I'm more confident in Cox with the ball than NN.

NN scares the living the shit out of me when he has set shots, it either goes over the umpires head or it goes backwards.

Strange too because when you watch him warming up live it seems like he's got a beautiful kick.
