So it was one of Perry and Celeste's boys that was attacking Emmabella? Curveball there.

Look forward to watching the ending tonight.

How was that a curveball. It was always going to be one of them because of how abusive Perry is. Some of it had to rub off on them.

the Perry/Celeste abuse scene at the start was hard to watch. like they all were.

I think everyone picked one of the twins as the child who was attacking Emmabella and the others.
Didnt see Tom being strait either.

Ed at the trivia night was sad, because he knew then. and He shaved and everything for a night he doesnt care about. But wish they showed what happened with Ed and Madeline after if they stayed together or not, All the girls became close but they didnt touch on the relationship between Ed and Madeline at the end.

Even with most people picking Perry as the man who r*ped Jane, and it being the most obvious pick, The reveal was done really well. and the editing of Perry attacking Celeste i thought was well done with the quick cuts to the waves crashing on the rocks, It worked better than showing another scene of him attacking her.

this article explains a few things about the ending (that was mentioned in the book)

Ill read that later.

I just saw that in the book Bonnie had a history of being abused which is why she could sense what was about to happen and how she reacted when she pushed Perry.

I think that was a big thing to not even touch on in the series when thats how they ended it. Because it seemed really out of character for Bonnie to act like that without knowing she had been abused in the past.

I didn't know about Bonnie's family history so I was curious why she reacted that way though she was watching Perry and Celeste carefully at trivia night. So she definitely sensed something was happening and Celeste was in danger.

I didn't see that happening no.

They seemed like innocent kids and I hadn't really thought of the similarity between father and son

I always expected it and for me it was confirmed when one of them ripped the class Hippo's leg off when they had it for the day. and didnt think anything was wrong about that.

Yes, I remember our discussions. How good was that ending? Though I was surprised it was Bonnie but the book explains that.
Yeah, I kinda read the book spoilers after coming up with the father theory, I just didn't want to spoil it for you. hahah I knew Kravitz was the killer.

There was an interesting shot at the funeral with a shaky cam, just before we find out that Kravitz was the killer. That spikes my interest.

I was avoiding the book spoilers all this time

I didn't notice the cam part, I will have to rewatch the funeral scene.

Really enjoyed that series. I never knew any spoilers so was just gripped every episode never knowing what to expect.

So well done in every way.

Also, aside from Jane's and Bonnie's, I want to live in all of their houses.

Ive just re-watched the funeral scene and also the last scene. It appears that detective is still watching them, after all she didn't believe their story?

I read the spoilers to pretty much everything I watch.

Season 2 ?

Season 2 ?

I doubt there will be a season 2. there is nothing really left to do with them.

and you cant do it about the cop finding out how Perry really died because it was still self defense, and the other cop said at worst she would get 12 months community service.

It was just a mini series never intended to last longer.

Mr Robot was only supposed to be one season. I might happen if, and only if, they can get everyone on board.

I'm a little confused on whether there will be a season 2. That funeral scene suggests yes, but the final beach scene suggests no.

You'll notice in the final scene the binoculars view (suggesting they are being watched?)

But not sure if we need a season 2

So was the Night of.

But this would cost much much more to get all the cast back together without any casting issues of them working on other stuff.

I dont think there is much left to tell with the girls, the only thing left unanswered was where some of the relationships are now like Madeline and Ed since Ed finally put everything together.

All the girls are now friends. and i dont know how they could keep it feeling fresh with the same cast. there is almost no tension left other than Ed and Nathan.

The only way i could see it working again is as an anthology series with a new cast.

I haven't read it, but wasn't that the whole book? I don't see a season 2 happening.

Although I read Reece has bought the rights to another of the same authours books. So maybe there will be that.

...yep like 'The Night Of' another HBO excellent effort.
