Big Rumour Collingwood has shown huge interest in Alberton League B&F Brett Anthony of the Kilcunda Bass Football Club. It is understood that the Pies have made an offer to Anthony after being very impressed with his past 3 years, and have decided to give him a crack. Very similar to James Gwilt situation, Would slot in well considering that a guy like Lokan and Williams could find a place on the Collingwood list in '05, Big News!!

People sit around and bitch that we don't ever pick up a James Gwilt or Josh Mahoney-type smokey, but then at the suggestion that we might be looking for one, people bitch about that too.

No wonder Collingwood fans have a reputation for being idiots.

If he can run like the wind, stand on blokes heads and dob goals from well outside 50 I say lets have a look at..........what did you say his name was??

Brett Anthony, he played a coupla years at Carlton and Sydney Reserves before returning to country footy in gippsland. Has won 3 league b&f's 2 in the now extinct west gippsland western division and one in the alberton football league.

Certainly got the pedigree to be a real gun in the AFL.
I like the Sydney reserves grounding.
Nothing like running around in the outer suburbs of Sydney playing against such mega clubs as North Shore.

What is he 26, 27 years old.

Yep, he's the type of player we should be looking at.
Think he will last until pick 5?

On second thoughts if he was Carlton and couldn't get a game, I doubt we would be interested, on second thoughts I KNOW we wouldn't be interested if he couldn't get a game with Carlton. :thumbsd:

Even now, Paul Licuria, Anthony Rocca... Absolute softc*cks...

Yeah he'll be great for the whole 2 seasons before he retires.
