Kind of disappointing that it's all over, but nonetheless an impressive list. I haven't even played the top 3 games, the GTA games were on special on steam a week ago too but I didn't buy any. Moral of this story is never pass up a steam sale on any decent game.

EDIT: Looking back at my Top 25, there is only one thing I would change if we did this all over again. I bought Mortal Kombat (2011 version) on Saturday and already after a couple of days it would be in my top 25 games.

im guessing you are quite young because it is impossible to have not played any these games if you are over about 25

I'm absolutely flat out with uni for the next month or so, so nothing is.

I might do one for game series when I get a chance, but it's going to have to wait until after exams. If anybody else has a better idea or wants to have a go feel free.

The only GTA game I have played is GTA 2. I owned a Playstation instead of a Nintendo 64 and only knew one person who actually had a Nintendo 64 (and didn't own Goldeneye), so never got to play Goldeneye. Loved GTA 2 but didn't get the other games because honestly I wasn't sure if I would be interested in them (Probably sounds a bit blasphemous or close-minded to GTA lovers). My best opportunity would have been a week ago when they had the GTA games on Steam on sale, but alas I will have to wait until the next GTA Steam Sale.

I wouldn't go looking to play Goldeneye now, the game has aged probably worse than any other game that I know of!

Bit late to this thread but it's a pretty good list!

I think I counted 50 games I've played out of the 100, not bad considering I've only ever played games on PC, N64, NES and GB... which is 50/70 of the possible games.

Deus Ex is criminally underated on the list though, wow. Would have thought top 30 minimum.

Also suprised CS was so low as well, it was the best online shooter for about a decade. Could argue it still is with it's recent versions.

Both Half-Life games were low for me as well.

Very surprised World of Warcraft didn't make the list. I guess not much love for MMO's really. I personally haven't played for years but it was/is a fantastic game. Numbers wise it is still going very strong so it's surprising that didn't translate across.

Yeah I've played every GTA game from 2 to 5 (Not including the spin-off handheld games). Apart from GTA IV, they're all fantastic games.
