Tony Notte FTW. Pick 20 in the 2008 draft as part of the Judd trade. WCE fans reckon he's going to be a gun! Awesome bicep definition. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

biceps out of whack with rest of arms and shoulders - he's a show pony

Biceps are actually quite secondary muscles for most sports including AFL - triceps and shoulders far more important and determine real strength to actually do anything in reality, although biceps are good for raising massively oversized glasses to your mouth. Correction: tackling obviously.

Biceps are for closing the arm, so probably only tackling and hanging on has any benefit from them in afl. The most important action ;) you don't throw a punch with the biceps - its triceps, pecs and shoulders, same for shoving off, pushing, out manouvring - fck every worthwhile upper body movement requires these other muscles before any secondary benefit/use of biceps.

There's millions of articles on different sports and what muscles groups are most relevant, also in replicating the sports actions which is what delivers the most value for that sport - you will find in footy and rugby far larger appearing triceps than biceps - so when you see biceps looking big compared to the rest of the arm - its not strength, its someone going mad in the gym on one of the most overrated and least used muscle. But it is seen by the naive as a glory or strength muscle - so obviously he's an image tosser.

Tossing off uses the biceps primarily - so the biggest biceps are by the biggest tossers
