Andrew Raines came from nowhere last year to be our biggest imporver for this year. This poses that question, who has imporved the most this season? This is mainly the blokes who have played less then 30 or so games and who were on our list last year?

1) Cameron Howatt
2) Luke McGuane
3) Nathan Foley
4) Kelvin Moore
5) Daniel Jackson
6) Danny Meyer
7) Matt White
8) Cleve Huges

Personally I think Nathan Foley has been the best of these players so far this year. But the biggest improver has been McGuane IMO

McGuane and Foley are the standouts this year along with Tambling. The others have done alot more in the VFL and I dont think it it fair comparing someones game in the AFL to someones in the VFL.

Foley for me. Came off the rookie list. Not even considered good enough to be drafted.
McGuane close 2nd. Low draft pick.
The rest are not even close. Raines has been a success story, but needs to go on with it now.

Foley has improved his disposal but was much the same last year.

McGuane has been a big improver but has only been solid so far.

From watching Coburg last week I am certain Danny Meyer has improved the most. He is the best kick at our club, he took some magical marks (one handers and everything) last week and the thing that makes him this years biggest improver is GRUNT. He has it!

Meyer is an inside player, that's why it has taken him a couple of years to show he can play. He'll shoot forward this year now I reckon. He has shown some very promising signs and imo has improved more than McGuane (who is good). Nathan Brown the second ;)
