Getting junior development right.
Uniting the entire state.
Building the stadium quickly and on budget
Building the high performance facilities

I heard Cornelian Bay as a possible site for the facilities.

Attracting big names or juniors down there.

I think people will be surprised by how many players are going to love it down here. Retention will only be a minor issue.

Ive never been to Tasmania before but on tourism level, you would imagine Tasmania will be happy about it.


As far as I see it, at the moment in the AFL there are clubs struggling to retain players in particular : GWS, Gold Coast and Freo.

Like I could see young footballers looking to live in those parts of the world for around 2-3 years but if the club doesn't have enough success , the lure of home or the 'bright lights' can quickly come knocking on the door.

Hope that’s the case. As a successful Tasmanian AFL side is going to be good for the game. Unlike the others.
