You just have to laugh at his progress (in a good way).

Two seasons ago a lot of us, myself included, said that we desperately need key defender depth because we can’t be relying on Frampton.

Here we are with the 4th rated defence in the league, with Moore only playing 1 full game and Big Billy playing every round. He currently has a 25% loss rate which is better than players like Harris Andrews

Every time someone posts here I hope the contract has been extended. A journeyman that I hope has found his home. With his age it’s a shame, a long term deal and media melts would be glorious.

He can’t get over BBB is a three club player. He has mellowed in a couple of recent comments. But Cornes has contempt for BBB.

Unfortunately Checkers did what Checkers does and looked for a free kick by leading with his head.
I haven’t seen a replay - that’s my opinion from live at the ground.

Was sitting side on at the ground and Mihocek’s action was obvious & concerning. Momentum was very much forward and down. Do they have a side on replay?

Mihocek slipped went in head first and caused the whole situation himself. Other than not tackling at all what else was he meant to do.

To me that is the be-all and end-all of the discussion. It is not a reasonable expectation to think a defender won't tackle their opponent. It is a reasonable expectation to think a player with the ball shouldn't lead with their head

Billy would be feeling absolutely terrible about the incident, despite (IMO) doing nothing wrong.

It was just a footy accident but to have been in any way involved in a serious injury to a Premiership team-mate would be gut-wrenching.

Best wishes to Billy, as well of course to Checkers. Wishing for best possible physical, mental and friendship outcomes for both of them.
