There were a heap of positives from Saturday, and some have been discussed, Mumford, LRT, McHack etc.....

But just how good was it to have Craig Bird back in the side? He's strong over the ball, seems to always make good decisions, uses the ball well and efficiently, doesn't panic yet gets rid of the ball before getting caught. He is a real midfield footballer. Captain Kirk can comfortably retire knowing the "The Word" is there to take his spot.
