Hey brothers.
I was thinking over the weekend about players who join squads and impact them immensely. It might be pushing a team over the cusp to win a title, like a James Posey or it might be turning an average team into playoff contenders like B Jax did in Memphis. Or it might be a replacement player to fill the void left by injury or retirement.
So which players do you feel have been an example of this? It might have been a single season they gave before they moved on.
For me as a Suns fan, Tim Thomas provided this in 2005-2006 as STAT missed the entire season. He was more than handy and nailed a key 3 in Game 6 to beat the Lakers in the first round. Any others you care to nominate?
