Its awesome that we are winning again and im just as thrilled as the next pies supporter but we do have one problem. I know it may sound petty and i should just bestaisfied with winning but we need to win by more.
Against the CROWS we dominated theplay all game and just got away with a win, they nearly stole it in the final term.We were at least a 6 goal better side than them that night.
The ROSS game went smoothly, happy with that reults. Happy with any win really!
Against the EAGLES we were a six goal better side maybe even eight. This may sound drastic considering they towelled us up in the middle but we controlled that game after the first quarter and again we nearly dropped a game we had secure.
Our percentage currently sits at a dismal 82.8 percent. If we are in control of a game we need to reall capitalise rather then nearly dropping what we alredy owned.
Again i shall say, that im elated that we are winning, GO PIES!!!!

GREAT POINT. After some poor first quarters, we dominate the scoring in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. In the final stages we almost lose games because psychologically we are saying to ourselves we dominated, but we only dominate one half of football, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. We had kicked 6 of the last 7 goals at one stage until the Eagles fought back to kick 4 out of the last 5 after a HEAD START. We need to get a head start and then we will be right.

  Are you serious? You should have been 7 goals down in the first quarter..... and you are saying you are a 6-8 goal better side? You must be proud of that considering we should have smashed you and we have 10 players who have played less than 10 AFL games in our team. Don't get ahead of yourselves.

Not really. I had us down for a loss before the game.... but honestly... to say you are a 8 goal better side is ridiculous.

oh yeah, sure, eagles 'should have' won by 7 or 8 goals too, that is, if we kicked straight, didn't make mistakes, and were an experienced team  nobody deserves to win by more than what they have won by.

I've never said that we were. I make my assesments on a week to week basis, based on reality not fantasy. No point trying to even predict the next game until I see the in and outs of both sides and what conditions are expected.

Pretty much, Collingwood would be a 30-40 point better side at the dome, WCE a 30-40 point better side at Subiaco. Think we would have buried em if we didnt lose our main focal point, and Copeland trophy leader so far this year.

Mark Viduka, firstly dont come on our board.
Secondly this is an aussie rules board. with a name like that you might find that you lost your way and stubled onto something beautiful.
Thirdly and most importantly, the first quarter was good by the eagles but lets face it. you dont have a forward line. That is a cold hard fact that you need to come to grips with. Your midfield can win as much of the ball as they want but they cant kick enough of the score to win you a game. The 2nd and 3rd quarters, we owned the game, we smashed you, you guys died and we didnt capitalise on your many weaknesses. Furthermore we allowed you a sniff and had we of capitalised on your lack of a forward line and lack of a back line, we should have been 6 or 7 goals up at 3 quarter time and sent the Weagles home early.
All said and done we still beat the coasters, id just prefer we bury a side as poor(away from mummy)as them.

Ha Ha they might have less than Ten AFL Games Expierence but none of them will make it. Did you see that new kid on the Weagles team last night (Already forgotten his damn name)?

He cramped up in the second quarter, thats what you call a fish out of water!

We were ordinary but got the job done. Not yet back to the second half of 2003 form. Get back to that form and we will pound ordinary teams like WCE.

Holland, Obree and Buckley back in will help.

Bring on Melbourne.

Totally agree with this... but as much as we didnt capitilise... neither did the eagles... we made a few mistakes which the eagles should have pounced on.. fortunately they didnt

We didnt' deserve to, but we should have. We had you guys on the ropes when we were 6 goals up, and we should have finished you off.

EXACTLY RIGHT.

With our lack of final quarters this year, we would have finished them off if we improved. Improvement better come or we will have to face a couple more humilliating losses (eg. Round 7 v Carlton)
