Wanted
2 Year old just won in Syndey, raced very green, gone at the 200m before picking up inside the 150, hands & heels the last 50, looks to be very good.
Ran 5 1:05.33 for the 1100m.

Pretty good I think.

True Tales a Tony Vasil trained gelding won again today pretty easily after winning about 5 lengths in his first race.

Seems to be a pretty smart horse.

Should win some decent races.
Races tomorrow at Mornington.

Get to see him live :)

Isn't up against much.

Probably be as short as he was in his first 2 runs.

Mick Kent has found another handy one in 3yo Hussonet filly Bubble Below.
Only won a moderate maiden at Kyneton today, but the way she knuckled down over the concluding stages, suggests she will develop into a handy middle distance type.
It was her first start, and being on the very small side, it is debatable whether she will do much more this prep.
Jockey, Michelle Payne said the filly has had trouble with her shins, but has loads of natural ability.
Definite horse to watch!:thumbsu:

In the Lexus Stakes (R6) today over 1400m..........thrown in the deep end after a Kyneton Maiden, but at least we get to see her against some classy 3yo fillies.

Actually ran on ok.....settled back in last couple and finished on well to be on the heels of the placegetters.......may have finished a little closer if the jock had come to the outside instead of looking for rails runs just on entering the straight.

Probably will be turned out, judging on what Kent said after the Kyneton win, but should be something to follow in the Autumn.

A filly called Rostova ran it's first race about 15mins ago in the first at Flemington and without King touching it, it bolted away from the herd and said 'tata'.

Very promising young filly, the trainer said they'll take it to the paddock and see how well it returns first up and then they'll think about aiming it at a pretty big race.

Going into the Melbourne Cup I'm black booking 2

Mad Rush - Was well backed today for the Caulfield Cup, got a little bit further back than I thought, got out & run home very well. If we go on most years the best run out of the Caulfield Cup at least runs a place. I think he'll win on todays run.

Viewed - The old master Bart Cummings has this one flying again.
was a late withdrawal last week and Bart pumped the work into him, reports from the Cummings stable have him doing over 6000m of work this week, most of it fast work. He got back early, was bumped by Mad Rush and then FLEW HOME running the fastest 200 of the race. Has 53kgs for the Melbourne Cup and we all know his trainers record in the big one.

Don't really like quoting myself but this was posted Caulfield Cup Night

Flying Ruby - Race 7 @ Kyneton.

Started $2.10 fav and missed the start by 4 to 6l. Ended up flying over the top of them.

One to watch..

Flying Ruby trained by J. Moloney was an impressive first up winner against a moderate lot at Kyneton today after missing the jump by six lengths. Caught the field and rounded them up easily half way down the straight to win eased up by a couple.

Should win a mares race in town either mid-week or just after the spring carnival.

Nice performance today by the 4yo Rubiton mare who has won 3 from 11 with 4 minor placings.

Apparently Flying Ruby won well today.......

seth

In on Stakes Day at Flem.

LIBERTY EDITION- yet another statue of liberty horse that im blackbooking. this one looks like its obviously up to city class the way it performed today at cranbourne.

was slow out of the gates, missing the start by 2 lengths, sat last, then went around them to narrowly miss, beaten about a neck!! trained by ian hutchins, i dont care where this horse runs next, it will be very hard to beat

running tomorow at flemington!! racing against another black booker in this thread by the name of eclair fantastic, who will start favourite!!

liberty edition will get a good run from barrier 4, and i expect it to finish in the top 3 at good odds! hopefully between 20...30-1

Yep, when I first spotted Eclair Fantastic it looked to have some serious speed attached to it.

Though a pacy horse, I think it'll run around the mark tomorrow but there are some nice types in the same race so it'll certainly be tough. As you mentioned, Liberty Edition should go close but I'm tipping Drumbeats in the same race. Owned by S.Mohammed and hasn't run a bad race out of three, but hasn't had any luck thus winning none of them so far. Looks a good race on paper, a lot of potential buzzing around that's for sure.
