Why are they removing just the AFL part if they're in financial strife? Surely take all or nothing.

Or they have sold the last of their AFL stock and thats whats left.if their AFL sales are soft, and its where league is making positive money, this may be the receiver shutting down the non profitable parts of its business prior to sale (100% pure speculation)

I assumed they were taking the piss out of South Africans.I always thought BLK was short/fancy way of saying Black.
I thought the same. Sort of made sense on a (not yet faded) Richmond jumperI always thought BLK was short/fancy way of saying Black.
Wouldn't a better name be GRY?I always thought BLK was short/fancy way of saying Black.
3/5 of the word black just like the stuff they produce being 3/5 of the colour black.Wouldn't a better name be GRY?
A mate from footy that works with BLK mentioned at training that all stock that doesn't sell in the sale will be destroyed.I think there's a few warehouse distributors for BLK on eBay, so I suppose a lot of the AFL stuff will be turning up there.
Ah that's a real shame actually. I was hoping they would end up on the eBay wholesalers like a lot of the ISC factory stuff wouldA mate from footy that works with BLK mentioned at training that all stock that doesn't sell in the sale will be destroyed.
They should disperse it all in op shops across Australia, giving likely lads the buzz only an $8 op shop gem find can do. Imagine being in holiday in some shithole town for Christmas with the in laws, and you end up coming across a Bears 17 clash jumper. That's a way to get a legacy!A mate from footy that works with BLK mentioned at training that all stock that doesn't sell in the sale will be destroyed.
That, or just do a Radiohead and send all of us prototypes and unfinished ideas in the mail.

Have they not heard of Boxing Day sales? That's a real shame. An extra clearance sale for a fortnight is better than destroying the gear surely?A mate from footy that works with BLK mentioned at training that all stock that doesn't sell in the sale will be destroyed.
donate it to underprivileged countries surely.... why would u destroy ?
people need clothes
Not even African kids want to be shoved into Lions merch.donate it to underprivileged countries surely.... why would u destroy ?

That surely all but confirms that no club of any code will be sticking with them? Has to be the final nail in the coffin.I know its Rugby League news, but the Gold Coast Titans and BLK have officially parted ways. This quote was particularly interesting "Titans have continuously sought guarantees from BLK and the Receivers that our 2017 apparel would be produced and delivered on time as required under our contract. Unfortunately, despite repeated requests the club has not been provided with the necessary comfort to continue the relationship." http://www.titans.com.au/news/2016/12/14/titans_sign_apparel_.html

Did see they launched their 2017 uniforms last week, though I find any club intending on sticking with BLK a bit strange, all well and good to receive your gear now or in early January, but what happens when the need arises for top up stock mid next year, surely the possibility of any further requirements outside initial orders must be seriously jeopardised at this point?I think the Western Force are staying with them. Yet to see any stuff from the Reds and Rebels though
