Roast Bloody Ticketmaster

I am trying to get a Reserved Seat for Friday's Night Game and Ticketmaster just keeps on Crashing.

WTF?

Anyone else having the same problem?

I've had the same problem all week.

I contacted both TicketMaster and the AFL Membership service through email and phone, and I got the same response;

"In the past we have not offered reserved seating on level 1 for NAB Cup matches at Etihad, you should know this already".

WTF, I've been to all our NAB Cup games that we have had over the years at the Docklands, and every year you could reserve a seat if you want to.

I know there isn't really a need to this week, but they should give you the option, I don't want to have to get there 2 hours before the game just to get a good seat.:thumbsd:

Lucky to snaffle a seat.

Having said that , they always understaff for NAB cup games , meaning there is a huge line up on all of the gates and many miss the start of the game.

thread needs more

Ticketmaster had a meltdown this morning too.

All AFL Members could buy tickets to this morning to any game (restricted number for each game) but their website just couldn't cope, and basically didn't allow most people to get access to the tickets.:thumbsd:

The AFL and Etihad Stadium management really should question whether Ticketmaster are proficient enough to handle their sporting events, because this morning was down right embarrassing.

At the same time Ticketek was working in 100% order, with next to no complaints or "faults".

Ticketmaster can get stuffed as far I'm concerned. Ticketek let you purchase multiple MCG match tickets in the 1 transaction, yet Ticketmaster make you purchase each game seperately so you have to pay the $5.95 handling fee every time. Absolute joke :thumbsd: Actually, it's joke they are charging a handling fee in the first place :thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:

Got this email today from the club:

"The 2011 daily member reserved seating will be released for at 9am EST Tuesday March 1st."

"Members without entry entitlements and members who already hold a season reserved seat will be required to wait until the public on-sale to purchase tickets."

So, if you have an 18 game membership, you should be able to book ANZAC Day tickets from Tuesday. If you only have an 11 home game membership (like myself), you'll have to wait until tickets are released for sale to the general public, but the email didn't say when that would be.

Why would u reserve a seat for NAB cup??
Its good being an AFL member, scan the card at the gate, sit bottom level in GA..

Pretty silly reserving a seat to a game with 10,000 attendance.
Maybe so, but it doesnt make ticketmaster any less pathetic, you should be able to reserve a seat if you want to, whether you need to or not.

I just rocked up 20 mins b4 start, brought a GA ticket at the gate (no queue), walked in, grabbed some food (again, no queue), sat in row B on the first level. It was a new experience for me, I've never been to a game with such a small crowd before. It felt kinda spooky lol.
