Bluebottle Jellyfish

Damn! when they sting they sting!!!! Has anyone been stung by a bluebottle jellyfish?

Yep, sure have. Usually check the beach before going in nowadays cause it friggen stings pretty bad!! I had a rash for days after one sting.

It was on my arm, my automatic reaction was to try and rip it off with my hand, so naturally that got the crap stung out of it as well! This one must have had tentacle thingy's about 1 or 2 meters long cause it got my leg too! Little bastards! I was quite amazed at the pain they caused!

yeah I had to rip the tenticuel off!! man did it hurt! That was the only surf beach too!

Don't know steg's, but I was at Pambula Beach, just near Merimbula.
