Depends on the value we'd be getting him for if its a late pick definately consider it .
Another question if we had injuries like this year who would you rather come in Shaw/Oshea or Newman ?

Whisperer saying we're into Newman and Finlayson...

Why did I look..... Damnit!

Please come back EP!

How many players are required to have a wealth of knowledge? I still have no idea what the wealth of knowledge Barlow would be potentially sharing is. He isn't a Judd or SOS figure.

We'd be better off keeping Graham than taking on Barlow.

Haha Barlow was a A-grade mid when he was at his best, graham is a useful as an a-hole on your elbow and that’s being generous. You’re strait up dangus if you don’t think he will help, he has a bigger body than all the youngins, him Cripps and Kennedy dishing out to them wile they develop for another year.
Any insight to becoming better is good and makes sense but wait graham is a gun

The crazy Crows/Power pick 1 and pick 2 trades with the Suns is making too much sense I must be going insane.

The Suns having 5,6,8 and 5 other top 20 picks is a massive win. Especially because they want the the Kings who could possibly fall to 5 & 6. All it would take is the Saints not taking one at pick 4!

I probably shouldn't say this because I'm definitely no expert on this year's draft prospects... but I'm just not feeling it for Walsh.

It seems to me that everyone just gets carried away with his accumulation of possessions, but his disposal and pace look average. He also isn't particularly big.

Can someone please reassure me that he's as good as everyone thinks?
Oh yes he's a gun its pick 1 must not trade once in a generation player .
Reassured ?

Think they’re all over Max with him doing his rehab there.

Clearly there are major red flags otherwise we would sign him.

Leadership group seems to be having some say on issues like this and they might have said "eff no".

Or Libba would decide if he wants to stay @ WBD.
Rumour was that he was keen to head interstate if he changes clubs but limited interest. Would be a good Sydney project.

Carlton trade pick 1, 43 (3378) to Gold Coast for pick 3, Martin (2234; values Martin as pick 15, a little unders but look at the following)

Gold Coast trade pick 1, 29 (3785) to Adelaide for 8, 13, 16 (3830)

Gold Coast trade pick 2, 24 (3302) to Port Adelaide for 10, 11, 23 (3539)

Gold Coast trade Steven May, 23 and 58, future 3rd (1414* points) to Melbourne for 5 and 6 (3629 points, values May as pick 4)

1 - Adelaide - Lukosius
2 - Port Adelaide - Rankine
3 - Carlton - Walsh

Gold Coast goes to the draft and uses picks: 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16, 19

Out: May + Martin + Lynch + their delisted players
Wow. Just wow, Wick. Would be massive. Funnily enough, I'd be more confident with PA and Adelaide having 1/2 but not Suns, who could still take Walsh.

If we could get Martin and still Walsh... dream result. Not sure Gold Coast would want to draft that many kids together at the same time - last time they did that many it was the Lynch/Prestia/Caddy year.

McGovern was always worth a pick in the teens. And that’s what he got.

He’s a very likely 150 gamer from here on. He’s at least a solid third up forward and defender. Kicks both feet. Is fast and pressures. People act like you get a contracted one of those at the start of their prime for a second rounder.

Just deluded and always was.
If top 20 players at clubs are automatically better than top 10 picks (or equivalent), then list management and talent ID is cooked.

We've been fleeced in this deal, and Bolton will have to wear this if the flow-on effect doesn't result in results and signings down the line.

You can call in fatigued if you like, when.I watched us live I believe we weren't fit enough, playing injured guys who werent a min of 95 % fitness and too many that are 1-3 year players.
There's no evidence to support the notion that our training levels were poor, nor were our GPS numbers poor in terms of distance covered on match days.

In fact, the numbers and injuries point to an excess of training and outdated recovery and dietary techniques. Double that with a game plan that screams for manic pressure from 2/3rds of a tall team and you get a pretty appalling situation. That likely covers points 1 and 2 of the performance review before it was lost in translation to the rumour mill.

I also refuse to believe that somehow all of our recent draftees are genetically inferior to the rest of the competition.
