Honestly …. And I do get it and am not defending him …. But Sayers is the first guy that seems to get things done since Elliot. Geez I wish Pratt lived another 10 years and I could have praised his name instead.

But the reality is Sayers, in my eyes, is steering this club to where it needs to be.

It does and it doesn't. I had a future employer run a couple of things by me (nothing crazy, but important decisions) after I had agreed to my contract and in the middle of my notice period.

Would be foolish to not canvass his opinion on things at a minimum, despite what we tell the media about his input into the situation.

If we weren't in COVID times, I would say that some people would be surprised at how much high level business gets done around a few bottles of wine in establishments. Perhaps the apt comparison now is whilst in your jocks and slippers on zoom?
