Saturday's BMW looks an interesting betting race. If anyone is discussing the race here I would be interested in hearing opinions.

Havent seen the field yet but the track looks a likely heavy.

After a quick look,it isnt a great boost for the reputation of our WFA horses
I notice theres a Kiwi who is unbeaten on the heavy, anyone know anything about it.....Mr Tipsy?

I reckon Forensics ($5 TAB) screams value but I think that Hot Danish is deserved favourite. Can both run in the wet so it will be a huge race. Barriers don't really help either horse ((Forensics (5) or HD (14))) but I still reckon the two will battle it out with Forensics getting over the top of HD because HD will have to work a bit to get over, but then again Forensics may not get out till late from the back so it could work either way.

As for Viewed vs Theseo I can't see Theseo winning. Not much speed on so same as last time and Theseo just won over 2000m. This time Viewed will towel em up in a small field even though Theseo will look the winner at one stage, barrier 9 doesn't help him either. Zagreb looks the only other real threat but is yet to race in the wet so might be best sticking with the proven horses.

Also like the chances in Aichi and Musket in the last few races. Real Saga and Manhattan Rain is who I'll be looking at in the slipper.

Going be an absolute gem of a day.

Havent seen the field yet but the track looks a likely heavy.

After a quick look,it isnt a great boost for the reputation of our WFA horses
I notice theres a Kiwi who is unbeaten on the heavy, anyone know anything about it.....Mr Tipsy?

Although I agree that the race doesn't say much for the standard of WFA horses going around it still looks as though it will be very interesting, both on the track and in the betting ring. As for Mr Tipsy, he is over here with the Sydney Cup as his ultimate goal. Might struggle at WFA but definitely one to keep an eye on for later on.

Viewed with the extra distance should run over Theseo.

I marked down Forensics as a certain winner next start after her last run, especially if it was only a F+M race. Well Hot Danish is in the same race which won't be easy but I'm going to back her in, I think she is at the absolute peak of her powers now in her career.

Im still a fan of Rostova and might give her another chance in the big one.

You can also pencil in Gallica, she is doing the usual 3YO sweep like Finland, Sam Miss, Serenade Rose etc etc etc have done before her

Dr Doutes had me scratching my head with his early runs this prep but perhaps Kav has set him to be my dour/cover longer distance. This run will tell us over the 2000

Wouldn't rule out Newport in the BMW - as long as the jockey can stay on.

Also keen on Horizons at juicy odds in the Slipper.

Both keen on the wet track.

Viewed in the wet should be the winner

Hot Danish and Forensics quinella looks good to me .. not sure i can split them at the moment

The Ryder only has the 11 G1 winners in it...

Finding it hard to seperate 3 horses I absolutely love-
WBGY - 3yos go well in this race and he is flying
All Silent - on his bandwagon bigtime, his toughest test though?
Light Fantastic - can't believe he is $8.50, will run a bolter

Good luck to all the Viewed fans here but I cant have him at WFA at $2.3

As weak as it looks,a lot better WFA horses than him couldnt win this race.
This race can throw up a shock too....Blutigeroo & Curata Storm come to mind
