Sounds like a BS rumour, although every club has a few ambitious back-room players. It wouldn't make much sense to challenge. For starters with Costa to retire at the end of year and a couple more directors going (so I believe), then there is already a good opportunity to gain power in manner that isn't going to alienate a good deal of the members. Next, even amongst those who are anti-bomber, there is still a belief that this season's fate is set in stone and that any amount of tinkering won't address that. Has there ever been a team who have sacked coaches once the season has commenced going to success that season? Plus there are those supporters who see the benefits of risky short-term gain being more than offset by the potential for off-field turmoil leading to long-term damage.
