Not far off now

Have been warming up with Modern Times and winding back wards ....

The Unplugged DVD which can be had for $9 down at JB Hi Fi ....

Am going to Splendour this week end but I can't help look past that to Bob.

Splendour and Bob! Half your luck :)

I'm scouring eBay for a ticket to His Bobness. Trying to get one in the centre section, not too far from the stage for either Melbourne or Adelaide. Hopefully something comes up without having to pay a small fortune for it.

I've been listening to a fair bit of Bob lately too. The album that I'm thrashing most is Another Side Of. It's a work of pure genius :thumbsu:

I have almost his entire collection and the one that I play the most is Planet Waves. Not saying it is his best but at this point in time I think it is the one that I can play over again and feel as though it belongs.
Blonde On Blonde is a classic but it's not like I play it too often.

I play Live 1966 a fair bit as well.
It probably has the best Dylan voice ever on it.

I have excellent seats to his Melbourne concert but not sure if it is going to be as good as i expect.
I just don't like his new band at all.
His last band was excellent but this one is just awful.
The music in Modern Times is close to the worst I have heard from him.
Fits right into an elderly citizens lunch time band.

Time Out of Mind and Love and Theft however i thought were fairly decent albums.

The great man. I love his voice. I think the best album he did was Blood on the Tracks, that album to me is his greatest.

Modern Times is a solid effort, I have listened to it at least a dozen times.

Wishing everyone who see's him a great show, don't expect him to dance and work the audience, just soak in the man and his words and one fine touring band.
