To me this year, the biggest glaring weakness to be identified in our team is our entry into the forward 50/the class in our forward line.

Imagine if we had a super classy high half forward operating as our main entrant into our forwards, delivering lace out cherries for our forwards to pick from as well as wreaking havoc as a pacey crumbing opportunistic goal sneak. A kid can dream...

Names have been thrown around like westoff, Stewart, mason wood, Sicily, saad, mcstay hell even Everitts name was bandied about :) all taller marking options or classy smalls. I think we'd be better suited with a fleet footed skilful player.

Enter 2017s newly rehabbed Bob Murphy!

A classy, skilful player who made his name as a half forward! This could be perfect next year with the addition of crammers into the forward line structure.

Forward line 1.
Murphy-stringer-Crameri.
Dickson-redpath-McLean

Forward line 2.
Murphy-redpath-crameri
Dickson-Boyd-stringer

With Dahl, Stevens, Wallis, BTC, Daniel rotating in.

Bobs workload gets to be more self paced as a forward rather then reacting for our zone and/or defending a direct opponent in the back half, which will aid his ability to play on with a rehabbed knee, as well as getting the 3rd/4th defender.

Murph moving forward opens up a spot in the back 7 (our zone) for Biggs/williams/r.smith/hamling to establish themselves into the already set backline of Wood/Adams/Morris/Boyd/JJ/Suckling

Il just leave this here...

Realistically I love murph and just want to see him banging them in from the boundary! Long live King Bob
