Losing an AA CHB is a huge loss for the crows especially with Trav starting to hit some form over the past 2 weeks.

But they also missed Johncock & Scott Thompson in round 1 and still beat us.

We just have to be switched on. Makes the 3rd tall in Dawes a very good look for marking inside F50 but means they'll likely have more runners to rebound when/if we don't mark it.

Rutten will have to take Cloke you'd think and Scott Stevens will push back on JA. That works out well for us because if Stevens had played forward I don't think we really had a match up for him. That would force them to play someone like Otten or Sellar on Dawes, and possibly drop Van Berlo back to play on Medhurst or Davis. Actually I think Johncock will probably take Leon.

I think that match up might be the other way around. Stevens>Cloke, Rutten>Anthony. May mean Sellar needs to take Dawes.

According to the AFL website Symes and Douglas have come into their team.

Means they wont be as tall as they could have been, probably wont have as many concerns in defense now.

you are right. Mackay is a good player for them -but he's missed the last couple. A bonus to not have him play this week.

Douglas can be a bit hit or miss. You wont know till the day.

Symes will pick up his 20 possessions across half back, but 90% of them will be an ineffective short kick/handpass sideways or backwards. He rarely kicks over 20 meters and rarely forward (when he does he usually turns it over). Not too much to worry about those guys i dont reckon.
