What constitutes bogan behaviour? From my time I've noticed some traits common amongst bogans, they are:

Their names are Sharon, Troy, Craig, Trevor or Sharelle.

They listen to ACDC, Cold Chisel and Pantera.

They like motorsports and VB.

What are your thoughts on bogans..

black (pick one of the following bands) Pantera/Metallica/Megadeth/ACDC t shirt - with a design of 5 devils devouring a blonde virgin

Tight black jeans

Steel capped shoes

Generally have less teeth than the normal population

Looked like they havent shaved for two or three days

ALWAYS have a beer in their hand with a stubby holder

Always keep their smokes up their shirt on their shoulder

Everyones called a f*kin c**t. For example: 'went down the shop yesterday to buy me some milk....the f*kin c**t tried to slug me $3 for the carton...what a f*kin c**t'.

Most barrack for Port!

All of them are called by their nicknames which usually come from the group: Macca, Wazza, Bully, Crank, Diesel, Boofa

Seriouslu someone once told me that in Croydon they think bogans are from lilydale, In Wantirna they think they are from croydon, In ringwood they think they are freom wantirna and in doncaster they think they are from ringwood.

I'm from Canterbury by the way so that makes me a 4WD Driving snobby bastard.
 
Although the older generation bogans usually go by the name of Barry (Bazza), Darren (Dazza), and Warrick (Wazza), I am amused at the names they give their kids. Bogans have a bit of a rebellous streak and like to question the English language (not to mention society itself). Here are some fashionable bogan names:

Leesa - instead of Lisa
Darryn - instead of Darren
Kathryn - instead of katherine


They're not the smartest minority group, are they?

I've got a friend who you wouldn't call a bogan, she studies law, etc, etc, and her name is Kathryn. Normally the bogans with this name like to be referred to as Kathy.

Have you also noticed that bogans end every sentence with "Aye" (pronounced like the letter A, and spoken with a whiny drawl).

"Lost me fcuking job today, aye. Fcuking mongrels, aye. Now I don't have enough money to buy me mull, aye. Gonna have to go home and beat the misses, aye."
 
yeah bazza and shazza.

has anyone read what it says on the CD 'nobody likes a bogan'? its **** funny and mentions places like st albans etc.

they also wear those derelictic bogan bucket hats ALL THE TIME. like going up to places like 'YARRAWONGA MATE' to drink VB all day and have a fire at night.
oh and the flanelette shirt too. with blue singlet on underneath

and for the older bogan the acid wash jeans, mullet and moccas.
