I was wondering if anyone else hearb Bomber Thompson's comments yesterday when he was asked whether he would be looking at the Crows v Carlton tape to prepare for the Blues this week

Thompson's response was along the lines of "No because I do not know what is going on in Adelaide"

This comment shows that the opposition coaches believe that we are so poor at the momement and non competitive that we can't be used as a baseline for opposition performance

we have lost a lot of respect in a short period of time

The struggling Crows

Neil Craig's coaching record will stack up against anyone - his win/loss ratio compares very favourably to that of Bomber Thompson (Craig 60 per cent, Thompson 61 per cent) - so any calls that it's the Crows' system or that Craig's the issue are basically irrelevant. Just look at their injury list - 11 players is crazy at this time of the year, and it has crippled the club. But despite all that, I think everyone expects Adelaide to be competitive, and to see them non-competitive has shocked us all. I suspect everyone had the Crows in their top eight, but after playing the Bulldogs this Friday night they'll probably be 0-5 and that's the end of 2010 for the Crows, just a month in. But I will back Neil Craig in, and I know he'll get it right.

- good because it shows that they think we should be doing much better
- bad, because he's admitting it makes no sense. i.e. somethings wrong

Darcy's dis hit the nail on the head when he said

"I think everyone expects Adelaide to be competitive, and to see them non-competitive has shocked us all"

this is the key issue, it's not just the 0-4 W/L ratio its the fact that we have been absolutely non competitive which has shocked us all
